"We desire to be the church that encourages one another in the ways and things of God and takes that encouragement with us to be salt and light in our communities."
Worship Service: What to Expect
Fellowship
We gather from 10:45 to 11:15 am for fellowship in the lobby and sanctuary. Prior to our service, we like to visit, welcome everyone warmly, and prepare our hearts to worship the Lord.
Sundays are an opportunity for us to gather as what the Bible calls the Church. In our gatherings, we focus on God (Father, Son, and Spirit), engage His Word (the Bible), and enjoy fellowship with one another (the Body of Christ).

Worship, Scriptural Reading, and Prayer
Our worship service begins at 11:15 in the Building A auditorium. During worship, we sing a mixture of contemporary songs and hymns. We recognize the authority and sufficiency of the Scriptures. Each week the pastor selects a Scripture Reading that compliments the sermon and we read that together as the church body. We pray together at the beginning and end of service to lift up praises, prayer requests, and needs for church, our city, and the world.
Spiritual Discipline
Each week we take time to engage in a spiritual discipline as a profession of our faith. Disciplines include Holy Communion, reciting the Apostles Creed, reciting the Model Prayer, and a reading from Psalm 119. Months with a fifth Sunday, we forgo a discipline and have an extended time of Prayer and Worship.
Sermon
We are committed to expository preaching of the Old & New Testaments by primarily going through books of the Bible verse by verse. The aim of the message is to explain, hear and understand God’s word with a gospel-centric goal to live out the truth God provides (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We seek to apply God’s eternal and life changing truth to our relationship with Christ, within our church, and to our cities.
After Service
After the service is complete, parents with young children return to their children’s classrooms to pick them up (please note workers will only release children to approved contacts).
Meanwhile, brothers and sisters linger in fellowship in the sanctuary and lobby, while others take the opportunity to fellowship over lunch at the church, or at a local eatery.
