English as Second Language (ESL) Ministry


The goal of the ESL ministry is to show the love of Christ through helping 'English As a Second Language' students gain the skills needed to communicate effectively in English. By doing so, they can experience a better quality of life in American society and culture.

Placement testing and study materials

  • RCCC offers students classes for Level I, II, III and IV
  • Student's existing skill level will be determined by an ESL interviewer during a placement test
  • There is no fee for attending classes, but the students must purchase their own books 


Registration

  • Registration is ongoing throughout the year
  • Enrollment will be dependent on our volunteer teaching staff's availability


By the way, there will be no classes during public holidays. And classes are required to be in-person for Level I, but can be either in-person or by Zoom for Level II to IV. This can be discussed during the placement Interview.

Mandarin as Second Language (MSL) Ministry


The goal of the MSL Ministry is to show the love of Christ through helping students gain the skills needed to communicate effectively in Mandarin. This helps promote communication across language barriers within and outside of RCCC.



  • RCCC offers students classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels based on the student’s existing skill level (as noted in the MSL Registration Form)
  • There is no fee for attending classes, but the students must purchase their own books

  • Registration is ongoing throughout the year
  • Enrollment will be dependent on our volunteer teaching staff's availability.
